The R.A.P.I.D. Deep Nuc Body combines easy assembly, superior insulation, and long-lasting durability to support a healthy colony. Made from molded polystyrene with reinforced hard plastic edges on the top and bottom, this hive body resists hive tool damage and everyday wear.

Featuring dovetail joints for quick, hardware-free assembly, setup is fast and simple—just slide the pieces together and you’re done (glue optional). The dense polystyrene material provides strength, stability, and excellent insulation for both hot summers and cold winters.

All R.A.P.I.D. nuc components, from the bottom board to the cover, interlock securely to maintain alignment and prevent shifting when stacked. This precision fit also reduces air leaks and keeps out moisture. For best longevity, paint the exterior with a high-quality latex paint.
